You asked for this in IRC, so don't blame my criticism...
The bubbles need some work. The blue is fine... But adding green? It can work, but not with the other palettes you have going on. Red Norfair stuff needs to change color to fit, the purple/tan brick blocks don't look that great.
Bubbles can work with two colors, but the tileset needs to work with them. What you have are some palette issues that need sorting out for those bubbles with that palette. Dump red. Dump the purple blocks too. Orange goes good with blue. You have green in there, so use that too. Also, add some neutral color in their, preferably a gray since that will also work well with those colors. (A slate gray, which would probably be best for the CRE.)
Besides that, the room itself seems fine. Seeing how the bulk of the room is made of bubbles, you can't really go wrong there. And you have a monstrous snake...

Cool stuff Charmander, but i'm sure you can make something more creepy again Now some scrennshoots for Parasite Amber, in this hack, bubbles/organic amber is totally destructible.   |

tunneling in Super Metroid is a cool concept. i have always wanted to see the gold come back to metroid. i tried it myself but couldn't get it to look right. Parasite Amber? i don't know what your plans are for the look of the parasite, but my plans of the parasite in MPE have changed. i don't need this any more and it would be a shame for it to go to wast. if you want it for your hack i'll send it to you.  |
